Having moved a lot as a child I became a constant observer of new people and places. I often felt like an outsider looking in.
Im fascinated by the uncertainty of being a human animal. Especially the non linear experience where different moments and sensations merge together. Sometimes creating memories of things that never actually existed.
In a world increasingly dominated by digital imagery and experiences, I appreciate the tangible and visceral nature of painting.
